The Design and Renovation Project of the Site Museum of Vat Phou, Champasak World Heritage Site aims to enhance the museum as an important cultural and heritage destination while preserving the historical significance and archaeological value of the Vat Phou landscape. The project focuses on creating an engaging and informative museum experience that presents the area's rich history, archaeology, culture, and natural heritage to both local communities and visitors.

The renovation is intended to improve the functionality, visitor experience, and overall presentation of the museum while respecting the heritage character of the World Heritage Site. Through thoughtful architectural design, landscape improvement, exhibition development, and the adaptive reuse of existing facilities, the project seeks to strengthen Vat Phou's role as a center for cultural education, heritage conservation, and sustainable tourism in Champasak Province.
